Our bodies have a natural inclination to heal, especially when encouraged and supported by positive influences (sometimes with the help of health care practitioners) and the reduction of negative, stressful factors. I discovered chiropractic at a young age while searching for answers for my own health challenges, some of which were musculo-skeletal. It was a great help to me and didn’t compromise what I had come to understand about healing.
My work is to provide hands-on treatments and to support and encourage my patients, generally beginning with their musculo-skeletal problems and other aspects of wellness including food, exercise and a healthy state of mind. I perform chiropractic adjustments to bring the joints into better alignment and to increase functionality, as well as work with the muscles and other soft tissue. I use an array of techniques including trigger point therapy, Graston techniques, low power laser and others. This approach allows me to adapt to your particular needs and preferences. I treat people of all ages, including children.
How much treatment is necessary varies from person to person, depending on the severity and history of the problems and your motivation to follow through with your part of the effort. Some get treatment for a short acute period of time, while others need more concentrated care to gain momentum toward health. Still others come in as needed to control symptoms or to stay on track to continue to function more fully.
Thank you for taking the time to give me the opportunity to introduce myself and my work. If you are considering treatment, please feel free call me. I like to start with a brief phone conversation at no charge so I can get an idea of what your issues or needs are and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
